Car Park Equipment Upgrades

We are pleased to announce upcoming improvements to our car parking facilities at The Pyramids Shopping Centre.

What’s happening?

We are installing new car parking equipment at both our Borough Road (The Pyramids) and Conway Street (The Grange) car parks to provide you with a better, more reliable parking experience. During the works, free parking will be available and at least one entrance and exit will remain open in the relevant car park.

When will the works take place?

  • Borough Road: Starting 14th September for one week
  • Conway Street: Starting 21st September for one week

What to expect during the works

We have carefully planned these improvements to minimise disruption:

  • One entrance and exit will remain open at all times
  • During busy periods, you may need to allow extra journey time
  • Free car parking will be available across both car parks throughout the installation period

Why we are making this upgrade

Our current equipment has become outdated and has been experiencing operational issues. The new system will provide a more efficient and reliable parking experience for all our visitors.

We have two multi-storey car parks with over 1,100 spaces in total.

 The Pyramids Car Park

  • 685 spaces (18 disabled spaces on Level 5)
  • The car park can be accessed from Borough Road
  • A total of 50 parent & child spaces spread across across all Levels, except Level 5
  • The carpark is connected to the shopping centre via Level 5 bridge
  • The Sat Nav postcode reference is CH41 2RA

The Grange Car Park

  • 495 spaces (16 disabled spaces on Level 2)
  • The car park can be accessed from Conway Street.
  • A total of 9 parent & child spaces on Level 2
  • Drivers must continue past the Pyramids Shopping Centre following Borough Road/A552, take the first exit at the roundabout onto Conway Street. The entrance to the Grange car park is then located on the left-hand side.

Price:

  • All day parking: £2
  • Sundays: FREE

How to pay: Both car parks operate pay on foot systems with pay stations. The Grange car park is located at the pedestrian entrance and the Pyramids car park is located by the link bridge. Machines now accept chip and pin and contactless payment.
