Stars of hit song Baby Shark set to make a splash at Pyramids this Saturday
Birkenhead’s baby sharks, along with their mummy, daddy, grandma and grandpa sharks are invited to a ‘sea-riously’ ‘fin-tastic’ event at Pyramids Shopping Centre this Saturday 27 July.
Local fans of the catchy ‘tune-a’, which has had more than 3 billion views on YouTube, will have the opportunity to meet the cute cartoon shark, which youngsters and their parents will no doubt be familiar with. He’ll be accompanied by Pinkfong the adorable fox and mascot from the South Korean educational brand that has had everyone ‘do-do-do-do-do-do-ing’ on repeat.
From 10am -4pm Baby shark and Pinkfong will be opening their jaws and posing for snaps at intervals throughout the day. The event will take place near the Food Court making it easy for hungry sharks to hunt for food.
Allan Beaumont, Operations Manager at Pyramids, is looking forward to welcoming families to the centre. He said: “It’s not every day the children of Birkenhead get to meet YouTube stars like Baby Shark and Pinkfong, we’re expecting to see jaws drop as little ones meet the characters from the soundtrack to the summer holidays.
“Character events like this are always really popular so we’re asking little fans and their families to arrive early as the queue lines will have to close to ensure the event finishes at 4pm when they sadly have to ‘run away’.”
