Santa Arrives at Pyramids
Santa has arrived at Pyramids Shopping Centre to take up his Grotto duties every day up to and including Christmas Eve, with 100% of the £4 entry fee going to local charity Claire House Children’s Hospice.
“Pyramids has supported the hospice with funds from the Grotto for many years now and we couldn’t be more pleased” said Community Fundraising Manager, Amanda Mitchell, “this kind of contribution from local businesses enables us to support over 400 families from our local catchment area.”
Claire House Children’s Hospice helps seriously and terminally ill children live life to the full by creating wonderful experiences and bringing back a sense of normality to family life.
Pyramids Shopping Centre manager, Derek Millar said, “I have seen the great work the hospice does, providing specialist nursing care and emotional support for local families. We had no hesitation to support them for another year by donating all the proceeds from Santa’s Grotto.”
Claire House will also be providing a gift-wrapping service from the Wirral Met College unit next to Marks & Spencer’s on the lower floor in Pyramids Shopping Centre
